BIG John Small wins FIRST PLACE in his first ever "Open Mic Night" competition. It was something he had wanted to do since he was six years old. His wife finally thought that if he tried it and failed (she hoped) he would get over it and move on. Instead of failing, he won 1st place in the first competition and took 3rd place in his next attempt with all new material. Since then John has had a chance to do more comedy. He has insisted on new material for each show so it does not get old for the audience. He admits "It may not all be the funniest stuff, but at least they won't be bored"
